(ARTS GEN FACILITATOR, 2014-2015)
Benchmark was a unique program of cultural outreach to African community members in Footscray. Hip Hop artist Motley worked alongside cohealth Arts Generator Arts staff and outreach workers from YSAS & WRHC to offer opportunities to make and perform music in public.
Over the years, Benchmark eventually transitioned into a series of free art and music workshops for young people in Melbourne’s West. Artist Facilitators from cohealth Arts Generator supported participants in a range of skill development including songwriting, recording, production and performance.
