Three African Australian families, survivors of war, famine, refugee camps, and isolation in a foreign city, seize an opportunity to return to their agricultural roots when a regional Victorian town reaches out for large families to revitalise their aging community.  Inspired by numerous true stories, COMMON GROUND is a 6x1 hour family drama series full of heart and attitude, music, love, in a search for peace, freedom and a sense of belonging.  

Produced by Cathartic Pictures, the creative team includes Cathy Rodda, Ez Eldin Deng, Dorcas Maphakela, Geskeva Komba, Andinet Teshome Shiferaw and with Clea Frost as Story Developer.
