stir it up

Stir It Up was a youth-led project that brought young people from African and Pasifika communities together with artists in the cities of Brimbank, Wyndham and Melton. The aim of the project was to foster intercultural connections and dialogues, as well as explore culture through creative modes of communication through collaboration.
Stir it Up commenced in October 2016 with the outcome being self-determined by each group and the third year and final year of the program culminated in October 2019.
The project was facilitated by multi-disciplinary artists in a series of structured workshops, the participants of this program created a series of music, art, photography and video works.
